AIA Middle East plans to organize a series of events including project tours, lectures by regional and international architects and professionals in the construction industry, film series, and panel discussions of relevant issues. These events will create a forum for the exchange of ideas and networking among industry professionals. For AIA members, these events will be recognized by AIA for continued education points.

ArchGlass Design Symposium

The ArchGlass Design Symposium, set to take place on October 10th, 2024, at Studio 12, Opus ME Hotel in Dubai, will bring together leading minds in architecture and design. Co-hosted by the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Middle East, Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) Gulf, United Architects of the Philippines (UAP), and the Japan Institute of Architects (JIA), this event will explore innovations in glass architecture and façade design.

This event is free and open to the public. We will feature three keynote speakers who will showcase their glass architecture projects, focusing on design strategy, façade innovations, sustainability, and climate change adaptation. We invite all members of the Dubai design community to join us for an evening of insightful presentations and discussions on cutting-edge glass architecture trends.
