Continuing Education (CES) helps AIA members stay current with evolving practice, technologies, and industry standards while maintaining their professional credentials. AIA measures continuing education in Learning Units (LUs), with AIA Architect and International Associate members required to complete 18 LUs each calendar year, including 12 in Health, Safety, and Welfare (HSW).
You can earn CES credits by attending eligible AIA Middle East live events, completing on-demand courses from our Past Events library, or participating in approved programs offered by AIA International and AIA National. Simply provide your AIA member number when registering, and your credits will be automatically reported to your AIA transcript.
